Food Not Bombs vegetarian meal Sundays at 2-4PM in Iris Park, 1235 Camino Del Rio.(free clothing, seed & plant exchange, live music, crafts, local organic produce, free box, community meal) Bring to share! available spring til first snow! Manna Soup Kitchen at 1100 Avenida Del Sol, Serves hot lunch Monday through Friday, 11:30a.m.-12:30 p.m.; Wednesday extended hours 4:30-6:30P.M. includes hot meal; serves hot breakfast on Saturday/sunday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.; free box daily (infant/toddler/adult clothing, sack lunch, books, more) free showers and laundry weekdays before 11A.M.

The GRUB HUB is the Fort Lewis College Food Bank. Thursdays 10a.m.- 04:30p.m. during the Fall and Winter trimesters. bring own bag to the Service Tree office Room 16 in lower Reed Library.

The Environmental Center at Fort Lewis College has a free box Thursdays 9-11A.M. Fall and Winter trimesters and a seasonal large item free store at the end of each trimester. Food Bank go to the south service window downstairs at Courthouse,. fill out form at the window, then form is faxed. Pick up Food every 30 days at Bodo Park location, various fresh and canned foods.

Smiley Building has a piano for youth use! located in the lobby. Free books by the posting board.

Poppy’s, 139 East 5th Street, has free books in the back corner.

Public Library: free local calls on service phone located in cafe area on Northwest wall.

Recreational Center: free local calls on service phone located in entryway of hallway going right from service desk

Commons Building adjacent to Albertson parking lot has free box on main level through the main entrance past the front desk down the hall to the right! has youth and adult clothing, small appliances, books, shoes

Southwest Center of Independence, 835 E. 2nd Avenue, Suite #200, has a free box.

Western Slope Craigslist, Durango Herald and the Cortez Journal have free sections.
